FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions about Airframe covers
How does Airframe avoid waterlogged foam?
Traditional hot tub covers rely on thick foam cores that absorb moisture, gain weight, and sag over time. Airframe uses a patented foam-free architecture featuring chambered air insulation and radiant barrier reflection. Because there is no foam core to absorb water, Airframe covers stay lightweight for years of easy handling.
Which panel configuration fits my hot tub?
Airframe covers are built modularly in two-panel, three-panel, and multi-panel configurations tailored to the size and layout of your spa. Two-panel configurations are popular for standard portable hot tubs, while three-panel designs provide lighter, more manageable folding panels for larger spas and swim spas. Select "Help me choose" on our quote form, and our specialists will recommend the ideal configuration for your tub.
What insulates an Airframe cover?
Airframe utilizes multiple layers of thermal defense: sealed dead-air chambers, reflective radiant barriers, and our patented Perimeter Barrier Seal. Together, they reflect radiant heat back into the spa and create an airtight perimeter seal to lock in energy without relying on heavy foam.
Can individual parts be serviced or repaired?
Yes. Unlike conventional vinyl-wrapped foam covers that must be completely thrown away when waterlogged or damaged, Airframe is modular. Individual panels, seals, hinges, and fabric outer skins can be serviced or replaced, extending the life of your investment and reducing environmental waste.
